Jeonghan Looks Rank: part 2
What it says on the tin.
I'll be going through all of Jeonghan's most iconic looks and decide which ones are the best and which ones could've used some, uh...tinkering.
I'll be dividing the looks into the following categories:
๐ S TIER, iconic, no notes, impacted my life.
โค๏ธ A TIER, gorgeous and amazing to look at.
๐งก B TIER, pretty and above average.
๐ C TIER, did its job adequately.
๐ D TIER, was hit and miss.
๐ F TIER, was not my fave at all.
Each tier's looks will be presented in chronological order.
With that all being said, let's dive into...
๐ D TIER
1. Young Rizzler Jeonghan
Aw, sweetheart... I mean, green room footage is technically free real estate, but he's a teenager so obviously he's gonna look a bit awkward...still a cutie pie though!
Like oh NOOOOOO your first idol photoshoot...yeah you're so cool... ๐ฅน
2. Mansae Jeonghan (lavender)
Long hair Jeonghan is my favorite Jeonghan because I'm a jjf to the core and that's just how we tend to operate. But this styling/color was probably my least favorite of his truly "long" hairstyles.
It's still cute and all, but the color somehow makes it seem even flatter, and they already straightened it to be completely flat lol.
3. Aju Nice Jeonghan (horse hair extensions)
Jeonghan, in a show of rebellion, cuts his long hair off and grows out his pit hair. Pledis doesn't like this, so they make him wear extensions for the repackage, with mixed results.
Sometimes it was done really badly, like in the pic above. Other times it was noticeable, but looked a lot nicer, like pic below.
4. Boom Boom Jeonghan (aerodynamic ver.)
Pledis finally let Jeonghan have a short haircut, which is basically the same as all his previous looks, just without the ponytail.
Without the ponytail, it makes the swoopy bang look super aerodynamic. I bet he had like zero wind resistance with this style.
5. Don't Wanna Cry Jeonghan
I am once again asking you to stop bleaching Jeonghan's eyebrows.
Jeonghan himself was apparently pretty fond of this era, saying that his beauty "exploded" with the short blond hair...um, did you not see that bizarre undercut they gave you, my man?
6. TEEN,AGE Jeonghan (pastel pink)
They finally took those terrifying contacts out and got the pink color right for his skin tone. It's actually one of his prettiest looks tbh.
Like wow, if you like pink kpop dudes, this is about as good as it gets. So why is it this low? Because they immediately slicked it back and put the contacts back in within the week.
7. Thanks Jeonghan
Thanks is one of my favorite title tracks from them, but it's not the best Jeonghan. The color of his hair is great and I like how they styled his eyebrows to be "sad" during this era lol.
It just seemed like they didn't really know how to style this cut on him at all, so more often than not it's a mess or a puffy anime-style bowl cut.
Burger pussy!
8. Diamond Edge Jeonghan (honey flavored)
It's a shame they gave him that purple ombre after this cuz this color was cute on him!
I'd say it's like almost too close to his skin tone, but it's still okay. The length is fine and when they made it fluffier it was pretty cute.
9. Oh My! Jeonghan (bowlcut)
They changed the styling a bit later on in the era, but for a while, Jeonghan was rockin' this auburn bowlcut for some reason.
Like okayyyyyyy Justin Bieber! He's still very cute it's just not the most flattering hairstyle in the world.
In the actual MV, they've styled it a bit differently, so it looks cute there.
10. Home Jeonghan
Let's just say Jeonghan shouldn't lose weight. His bone structure is too severe for it to go unnoticed. He dipped into the Tim Burton lake for this era! Between getting closer and this he lost like 15 pounds for some reason.
Like whoa...buddy. You okay there? This isn't even a styling complaint cuz the styling is pretty much the same as it was for getting closer, just a bit lighter.
And that concludes Tier D! See you soon for Tier C!
